Back in the saddle

Hey Y'all! It has been forever since I posted anything on this blog. Life has been busy and challenging these past months. Sherri and I have had some family tragedy, Sherri's mom went to be with the Lord this year and we have been up to our ears trying to make ends meet. I have been back to work full time and it has reduced the time available for ministry events here at the ranch. I will tell you though, the ministry continues as there are so many people we meet every day that are struggling with their walk in Christ, and with the challenges of everyday life. I hope to carve out more time to keep in touch and continue to encourage others-even in the midst of our daily challenges.

I look forward to encouraging and challenging you as I am challenged and encouraged by you! Hopefully I will remain faithful to continue posting in the days, weeks and months to come.

It Fall Festival at His Barn time again!

I will be presenting another Unbridled Round Pen presentation again this year at His Barn in Indian Land again today. Jillian Hansen at His Barn always hosts a wonderful family Fall Festival and has been gracious enough to let me share a round pen presentation the past 3 years. There is food, games, music and pony rides, great for the whole family.

I will be using Cody, my Palomino Appaloosa, this year to share a neat message on trust and faith. I will post some pics as soon as I can on today's event. For more info on how to get to Jillian's His Barn, here is the web link. www.hisbarn.com

Hey all. It has been a long while since my last post. Life has a pace, sometimes we run ahead-sometime we're playing catch-up. Things at the ranch have been challenging, but always there is something good to come from our daily journey's. With life finding somewhat of a consistent pace, we are focusing our efforts to find areas in the TCR ministry to reach out to those in our community to help encourage others about this amazing life we have in Christ. I will be redesigning our website to better communicate what's happening here at the ranch and we will also be starting some new opportunities for you to get connected to the ranch and to others.

As many of you may already know, Sherri is offering a wonderful cooking and nutrition class to help teach and encourage others to live healthier and more productive lives by changing some of the unhealthy eating and nutritional habits so common in our culture. I am also starting an exercise and fitness class to help others learn what they can do to change their habits to include activities and exercises they can use to create a healthier, more active lifestyle. A lifestyle that won't keep us all in bondage to the limitations of an unhealthy body.

I will also be planning some fun activities geared towards just getting people together to fellowship and spend time together doing fun projects and activities that will get us up and moving towards a more healthy lifestyle both physically and relationally. We will also be offering some great Bible studies this fall to help you learn more about the amazing power we have in and through Jesus Christ to life free in His sufficiency.

It's Time To Get Healthy–Inside and Out!

Hey everyone. A new year is often a time when we look at things with a fresh view, a clean slate. A time when the sky is the limit for change in our lives. We are really excited at the changes God has made in our lives so far this year, both personally and in ministry. Sherri and I have been blessed to serve the community through our horsemanship ministry for the past five years and have enjoyed the opportunity to share God's love and grace through our ranch.

While we continue to serve others through horsemanship activities, we are excited that God has led us to encourage others in a new area of healthy living through personal nutrition and fitness. As we have been led to make changes in this area of our lives, we are very excited to challenge and encourage others to become better stewards of the "Temple" we have been called to steward. We have found that as we are obedient to make our physical fitness a priority, we are better able to be available when God has opportunities for us to go when and where he leads in serving others.
